Chancellor John Healey will provide £15 million to the Office for the Impact Economy over three years to fund schemes aimed at preventing misogyny and improving outcomes for women and girls across the UK. The investment is expected to be confirmed in the budget on 28 October 2026.

The money will support programmes that may include mentoring for young people, workplace training and communications campaigns. It is intended to form the basis for additional match funding from corporate partners and philanthropists.

The fund will underpin Minister for Women and Equalities Bridget Phillipson's misogyny prevention taskforce. Phillipson called it "a critical step" as the government works to "confine misogyny to the history books". The Office for Equality and Opportunity will work alongside the Office for the Impact Economy to draw in further funding.
