സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളിൽ 7.16 കോടി രൂപ മുടക്കി വാങ്ങിയ 224 ഐഫോണുകളും അവയോടൊപ്പം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഫണ്ടസ് ക്യാമറകളും ഉപയോഗിക്കാതെ കിടക്കുകയാണെന്ന് ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രി കെ. മുരളീധരൻ അറിയിച്ചു.
ചില ഐഫോണുകൾ കാണാതായതായും പരാതി ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആലപ്പുഴ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലെ രണ്ട് ഓക്സിജൻ പ്ലാന്റുകൾക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ ഉത്പാദനശേഷിയില്ലെന്നും മന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
നാല് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജുകളിലായി പിഎം കെയേഴ്സ് വഴി ലഭിച്ച 128 വെന്റിലേറ്ററുകൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കാനാകാതെ കിടക്കുകയാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.
